Valeska Gert Visiting Professorship at the Freie Universität Berlin: “Dance Archive Box Berlin” at the Akademie der Künste.
2019年度冬学期に、ドイツ・ベルリン自由大学のヴァレスカ・ゲルト招聘教授に着任します。このポジションは、一学期にわたって舞踊学部の大学院生に舞踊の理論と実践を教えるものです。授業では、ドラマトゥルクとして進めてきたダンスアーカイブボックスという、ダンスの伝承と創作にまつわるプロジェクトのベルリン版を、学生たちと一緒に行います。日本から送られたアーカイブボックスを受けとったベルリンの学生たちは、どのような反応を見せてくれるのでしょうか。10月22日の着任イベントでは、老いと踊りという私のこれまでの研究を、このプロジェクトでのダンスのアーカイブというテーマに繋げるミニ・レクチャーと、演出家オンケンセンさんとの対談を行います。

“Nanako Nakajima is a dance scholar and dance dramaturge, and a certified traditional Japanese dance master, Kannae Fujima. She was a research fellow at the International Research Center “Interweaving Performance Cultures” at the Freie Universität Berlin and has been a lecturer at several universities in Japan. Her research focuses on aging bodies in dance, archiving movement, and dance dramaturgy.
As part of her seminar for the Valeska Gert Visiting Professorship, Nanako Nakajima will develop her own Berlin version of the project Dance Archive Box. Conceived by theatre-maker Ong Keng Sen, the project was initially exchanged and further developed in Japan and Singapore with artists of contemporary and traditional dance from the Asia-Pacific region.”
