『舞台芸術 19』に「老いを巡るダンスドラマトゥルギー、ライムント・ホーゲのAn Evening With Judyを中心に」を寄稿しました！

今月発売の雑誌『舞台芸術 19』に「老いを巡るダンスドラマトゥルギー、ライムント・ホーゲのAn Evening With Judyを中心に」を寄稿しました！2014年６月に京都・春秋座で上演したホーゲさんのこの作品を巡って、彼とピナ・バウシュとの影響関係や、舞台芸術でのジェンダー構築、日本伝統演劇での美意識や劇場機構を参照しながら、「老い」というダンスドラマトゥルギーの構築を探っています。ホーゲさんの横浜のワークショップで起きた、不思議な逸話も冒頭で紹介しています。他にも砂連尾理さんやなぎみわさん鷲田清一さんなど、興奮冷めやらぬ執筆陣が執筆されていますので、ご関心のある方は、どうぞご一読下さい。

My article “Oi wo meguru Dance Dramaturgy (Dance Dramaturgy on the Topic of Aging)” was just published in the journal, Performing Arts vol. 19 (2015). In this article, summarizing our symposium-performance program on the aging body in dance (Tokyo-Kyoto) in 2014, I analyze Raimund Hoghe’s piece “An Evening with Judy” which was presented in Kyoto last June as Asian Premier at the Shunju-za kabuki Theater of the K-PAC. Introducing one mysterious story during Hoghe’s workshop at the Kazuo Ohno Dance Studio in Yokohama, I here juxtapose his dramaturgy along with Japanese traditional theater aesthetics and its performative gender construction in terms of aging.
