The New Issue of “Performance Research”: “Ageing (& Beyond)”

I have co-edited the new issue on Ageing (& Beyond), Performance Research, with Richard Gough, and happy to inform that our issue is finally published! We are delighted to include such powerful, thought-provoking, and moving articles by Elinor Fuchs, Pil Hansen & Sarah J. Kenny, Lenora Champagne, Beth Watton, Lily Kelting, Marcus Tan, Nora Amin, Idit Suslik, Benjamin Gillespie, Mallory Catlett, David Slater, Jayne Thompson, Michael Pinchbeck & Michael Mangan, Rosalind Fielding, Cindy Rosenthal, and Roberta Mock. And my article on Tino Sehgal with Robots and “My conversation with Yvonne Rainer” are also included in this issue. I sincerely thank all the authors for their inspiring contributions. リチャード・ゴフと私が共同編集を行なった雑誌「パフォーマンス・リサーチ」老い特集号が、とうとう、今週発売されました！ こちらには、世界各地の舞台芸術における、研究者とアーティストによる老いの論考やエッセイを収録しています。老いを扱う劇作、振付、演出から、ファイザー製薬会社の高齢化政策やエジプト女性ダンサーのポリティクス、NYリヴィング・シアターやさいたまゴールドシアターなど、テーマは多岐にわたっています。また今年一月にNY大学で行なった、私とイヴォンヌ・レイナーさんとの対談や、ティノ・セーガルとロボットの老いに関する拙論も掲載しました。表紙は、やなぎみわさんによるThe Three Fatesのイメージ（過去と現在と未来の運命を操る三人の女神、老少女版）です。
