This event convened a diverse group of Japanese choreographers, dancers, and students, fostering a collaborative environment that transcended generational and cultural boundaries. The objective of the dramaturgy workshop was to establish a foundation for subsequent creative endeavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her keynote lecture, Professor Profeta expounded on the history of dance dramaturgs and her collaborative endeavors with Ralph Lemon. Furthermore, she expounded on the significance of incorporating the audience&#8217;s perspective into creative research endeavors. As the discussion progressed, it became evident that the presence of incompleteness, manifesting in the form of fragments and losses, can serve as a catalyst for creative endeavors.
